Department of Management

We, at SHRI SHANKARACHARYA MAHAVIDYALAYA, consider ourselves as providers of future leaders to business and industry who accept the challenges as new opportunities of their competitive environment. Of course, being suppliers of such developed manpower we are always on toes to understand and fulfil the requirements of our customers business, industry and other organizations. This is achieved through the wide range of interface - activities; starting from guest - lecturers to intensive summer internships, followed by experience sharing among students, making them realize their respective areas of improvements, to match with the requirement of their future employers. The Department of Business Administration started its journey towards imparting wholesome management education in July 1997. To motivate and fascinating students, the department has been involved in focusing on student-centric course curriculum and industry-based learning methodologies.

We believe that an effective manager should not only be skilful in techno-managerial precepts and practices but also to be a good human being at heart with qualities like honesty, empathy, flexibility, cooperative, transparency etc. In order to have such qualities as an integral part of a student's personality, we have evolved a value system to be followed by all the students and other stakeholders. SHRI SHANKARACHARYA MAHAVIDYALAYA.

A strong faculty is a key component in the success of any educational institution. Cognitive growth of students stays directly proportional to the kind of faculty they learn from. The management at SHRI SHANKARACHARYA MAHAVIDYALAYA knows that this fact is a cornerstone of the educational process and prides itself on the strength of its faculty. The pedagogy of the BBA program consists of lectures, Project Reports, case studies, seminars, workshops, management quiz, and other student-centric activities. To update the knowledge and have a practical exposure to the industry that the department organizes seminars and industrial visits.
