Department of Botany

The department was started in the year 2005. It is taken care of that the teaching methods should not promote memorized learning, instead, the stakeholders are encouraged to learn about the areas of application of their knowledge. A continuous and comprehensive evaluation of learners is done through assignments, unit tests, classroom discussions, class seminars (on powerpoint). Students are encouraged for field visits and for an educational tour to have firsthand experience of theoretical knowledge. These practices ensure that programme objectives are constantly met and learning outcomes are monitored. Conduction of regular practicals also ensures the proper perception of theory.
