We, at SHRI SHANKARACHARYA MAHAVIDYALAYA consider ourselves as a providers of future leaders to business and industry who accept the challenges as new opportunities of their competitive environment. Of course, being suppliers of such a developed manpower we are always on toes to understand and fulfill the requirements of our customers business, industry and other organizations. This is achieved through wide range of interface - activities; starting from guest - lecturers to intensive summer internships, followed by experience sharing among students, making them realize their respective areas of improvements, to match with requirement of their future employers. The Department of Business Administration started its journey towards imparting a whole some management education in July 1997. With an objective of motivating and fascinating students, the department has been involved in focusing student centric course curriculum and industry based learning methodologies.
We believe that an effective manager should not only be skilful in techno-managerial precepts and practices but also to be a good human being at heart with qualities like honesty, empathy, flexibility, cooperative, transparency etc. In order to have such qualities as an integral part of a student's personality we have evolved a value system to be followed by all the students and other stakeholders at. SHRI SHANKARACHARYA MAHAVIDYALAYA.
A strong faculty is a key component in the success of any educational institution. Cognitive growth of students stay directly proportional to the kind of faculty they learn from. The management at SHRI SHANKARACHARYA MAHAVIDYALAYA knows that this fact is a cornerstone of the educational process and prides itself on the strength of its faculty. The pedagogy of the BBA program consist of lectures, Project Reports, case studies, seminars, workshops, management quiz, and other student centric activities. To update the knowledge and have a practical exposure of the industry that the department organizes seminars and industrial visits.

03 students were selected in Defense Services, 2 students cleared Pre-PSC while 156 student cleared MAT,C-MAT and other examinations and were selected for Higher Progression in various reputed colleges in India.

  • Ms.Akanksha Sinha of VIth Sem. got selected as a PO in Rural Cooperative Bank.
  • Mr. Avinash Sinha (2nd Semester) was selected in the camp for under 19 Orissa Cricket Team.
  • Mr. Jaggannath Sahu of BBA VIth Sem. and IInd prize in one act play organized by BSP at district level and IIIrd prize at State Level competition.
  • Mr. Mayur Sudke of BBA VIth Sem. won the Best Photographer Award in the state level competition(Lakshya) held at CSIT, DURG.
  • Ms. Rupal Lala and Ms.Rashmi Lama of BBA VIth Sem. won the 2nd prize in the event- Case Study in (SAMVID) held at SSTC Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Junwani Bhilai.
