Department Of Botany

The department was started in the year 2005. Special care is taken that the teaching methods adopted in the department do not encourage rote learning , instead the stakeholders are encouraged to learn about the areas of application of their knowledge. Continuous and comprehensive evaluation of learners is done through assignments, unit tests, classroom discussions, class seminars (on power point) by teachers and students etc. Students are taken on field visit as well as on educational tour to have firsthand experience of theoretical knowledge, and also to ensure that programme objectives are constantly met and learning outcomes are monitored. Regular conduction of practicals also ensures the proper perception of theory.
